Gulf Coast Resilient Home Building Conference:
|
The purpose of the Gulf Coast Resilient Home Building Conference (RHBC) is to help put communities along the Gulf Coast on a path toward greater resilience to natural disasters through the construction of strong homes that can withstand high winds and water. The conference will feature a combination of education sessions, a demonstration exhibit and product vendors. On March 20-21, there will be an entrance fee of $7.00 per person for the Home & Garden Show, which will also grant access to all aspects of the Resilient Home Building Conference.
Join us at the Resilient Home Building Conference to:
- See and learn about state-of-the-art resilient building materials and techniques currently in use or under development.
- Gain practical knowledge about applying resilient building materials and techniques to new, existing or damaged homes.
- Help yourself and others make informed judgments about using resilient building materials and techniques within the framework of existing building codes.
- Help expand the use of resilient building materials and techniques on the Gulf Coast to increase the stock of strong homes and reduce future losses.
- Earn continuing education units for selected professionals on March 19.
